The kids are out of school for the summer and we’re trying to keep them outside as much as we can, but also trying to find new ways for them to learn. I got the chance to try out some littleBits, a system of snap together circuits, and the kids absolutely LOVE them. They’re a great way for anyone to get a better understanding of how circuits work, as well as quickly assemble prototypes or fun little electronics projects, like the bubble flute, for example!

We played with the the components of the kit enough for my seven year old to understand what they did and how they worked, then we set right into the first project. It’s REALLY simple, but provided all of the kids a lot of laughs, and has them begging to make more silly projects!
