Using pallets as a source of wood has been in the back of my mind for a long time, but I’ve never actually gone to get any pallets purely out of laziness. I’ve never wanted to make a special trip out to look for them, and I usually can’t stop when I see them near a dumpster.

But last week, I found myself in a parking spot about fifteen feet from two pallets, so I really had no excuse but to take them home. I have to say that I’m very glad that I finally did it, and since then, I’ve been on the prowl and have picked up a few more. What’s even better, I’ve found two friends who have consistent access to as many pallets as I could possibly use! So, you can expect a few more projects built from this type of wood (but I’ll try to spread them out so you don’t get bored 🙂

Here’s  my first pallet project (and it’s currently for sale, if you’re interested.)
