A while back I made a ShoreTrooper helmet using Fusion 360, a fantastic high powered 3d modeling application from Autodesk. It was a large, complex project that took a long time, so I wasn’t able to realistically show the modeling process on video. I figured it was time to resurrect my Maker101 series and show some really basic steps in Fusion 360 and how I use it to create small objects for 3D printing.
In this video, I modeled an orange tip to that can be popped on and off of my Shoretrooper blaster as a safety cover. Check out how I did it and give Fusion 360 a try!
