Maker 101 is back!

This series is aimed at anyone who is just getting started in making and DIY. No matter what you’re interested in, getting familiar with basic terminology and tools will help you dive in faster and get to the skills that you want to develop!

In this episode, I talk about circuits. I don’t go over any type of how-to, but more about the “what”. I explain three basic concepts that will help you understand electricity, using the hydraulic analogy to illustrate it. If that sounds intimidating, don’t worry. The hydraulic analogy is just a way to use water in a pipe as a metaphor for electricity in a wire.

After I cover the basic ideas, I’ll show and explain a few electronics components that you might run into once you start looking at projects.
