Did you know that I live stream from my shop every week? Well, I do. On that stream, the viewers and I have a great time brainstorming ideas and coming up with concepts while making things (some of which never get to YouTube!). A few weeks back, Eric B mentioned that he’s love to know how to make a knife block. That made me realize that I’d never thought about it, and I immediately remembered out kitchen draw full of sharp knives.
There are lots of different ways to make a knife block, and most of them are really based on how you want it to look, rather than a specific function. As I typically do, I wanted to add something extra to mine, so I angled it and added a lip. This makes it a perfect place to set your cook book while whipping up a new recipe.
