The more devices we have, the more chargers we have. On my night stand, I’ve had a phone, a tablet, a watch that all needed to be charger via USB AND a lamp. I finally decided it was time to consolidate those.
Years ago, someone gave us a table lamp that was vaguely shaped like a robot and I’ve always liked the idea, but not really the execution of that lamp. I decided to remake it but include some charging capability to cut down on the number of cords running off of my night stand. This is a really simple project that could be designed to look like any type of lamp if you’re not into robots.
