A few weeks ago I was browsing through Pinterest (not something I do very much of) and I randomly saw an image of a ravioli rolling pin. It immediate occurred to me that I’ve never even thought about how they were made. I don’t really need one, but the construction was really interesting, so I figured I’d have a go at making my own.
Partially, it was an excuse for me to use my new lathe, but also I thought of three or four different methods that could be used to build the rolling pin. I went through them each and weighed the complexity and challenge. I ended up on this method, and it worked out great, despite some mistakes on my part (per usual).
Check it out!!
