Well, the main reason that I switched to the PocketPC from my trusty Palm was the Flash player. I’ve been really excited about developing Flash for mobile devices for quite some time..
What I wasn’t expecting, was that I’d find a pocket version of IIS and SQL Server. So now I can create and execute ASP pages on my handheld.
Now, i know it’s not the most comfortable development environment, but it’s more of a “because i can” kind of a thing…
It seems really crazy to me to have a mobile website… generally mobile devices surf through stationary content, but now, there might be stationary (and mobile) devices surfing mobile content…. hmmmmmm….
